Stylecraft Classique Review

Spring is here and I want to work with light bright lightweight yarns.

Pastels scream spring and I’ve been looking for some cottons to create Bonnets.

Luckily for me Stylecraft have launched a new range of 100% cottons in a beautifully delicate range of colours.

The new Classique range comes in a wide range of blending colours:

  • Ivory
  • White
  • Sunflower
  • Soft Lime
  • Peppermint
  • Sky Blue
  • Greek Blue
  • Lapis
  • Lavendar
  • Poppy
  • Fondant
  • Shell

These yarns are a great choice for spring and summer lightweight shawls and beach coverups. They also work for breathable summer socks as they are only 4ply in 100% cotton.

I have been making spring bonnets with my testing and I will be creating a fun Arigurumi Sunflower next.

Baby booties work well, the dragonscale versions are so pretty with a colour change through the scales! Watch out for the upcoming photos.

The collection comes in 50g balls and that gives you 199 yards of spring fun for each one.

The yarns are soft to use and don’t cut into your fingers, which I have found with other finer cottons.

The finished items are squishy and perfect for little ones. Lacey shawls will be stunning in this yarn and the range of colours gives me so much inspiration for future patterns and projects.

What will you be making up?
