Trigonus CAL – Baby Blanket

Welcome to the Trigonus Blanket CAL, the first crochet Along project for 2017 from Babs at Fiery Phoenix.

This rainbow baby blanket was designed to use up the left over yarns from the Carousel CAL.

There is a Colour Pack available for this CAL from Loremar which you can buy at:

https://www.loremar.co.uk/colourpacks/fiery-phoenix-trigonus-cal-colour-pack

Use the code FP17 for a 5% discount.

I’m so excited to see that over 1,100 people have signed up to the CAL over the holidays! This is a huge number of yarny folk and way more than I was expecting.

Onto some solid info for you all. The blanket is 38″ x 30″ or 97cm x 77cm, this was before blocking and may well increase in size should you wish to block the project.

The blanket was designed to use up the leftover yarn from the Carousel CAL. So if you bought the Batik kit you should already have enough yarn to complete the project, depending upon your tension. The only colour you may need to purchase is Old Gold

I used Stylecraft Batik DK yarn in 50g balls, 4mm hook and a wool needle for that last end.

You can buy your colour pack from Loremar using the code FP17 for a 5% discount by clicking the image to the right.

I’m really looking forward to getting underway next Monday. The pattern updates will be released at 9:30am GMT on the four Mondays from the 9th.

Everyone who participates and shares WIP photos with the hashtag #TrigonusCAL will receive the complete pattern for FREE, with a surprise bonus giveaway for one lucky winner. To be in the running you will need to complete your blanket by Feb 5th, more info to follow.

Remember to share the Cal signup link, below, with your yarny chums.
