The Diet Plate Ltd were looking for a fresh, new on-line shop to simplify the shopping experience for their customers. With strict corporate image guidelines, on-going marketing and an existing customer base this was a time critical site update.

The site update included restructuring the shop to allow opportunities to purchase on all pages of the site, re-wording for greater impact and creating a simple-to-update News section.

"Kay Illingworth director of The Diet Plate Ltd recruited Fiery Phoenix to do an overhaul of the existing site, within minutes of looking at the site Barbara Rudlin of Fiery Phoenix called back with a point that struck a chord. www.thedietplate.com she said, “although it is a pretty site, it is an information site that sells products, where though, are the products to buy?” Even Barbara had trouble locating them!

Her comments were backed up by the web site statistics and it was apparent once Barbara had analysed them that people were leaving the site frustrated and without purchasing from us. Barbara also found several anomalies in the coding and SEO requirements needed to give us the best possible chance of decent listings on the search engines.

At a very reasonable cost Barbara reworked the site, listening to us to ensure continuity of brand and produced a site which sold product, first and foremost with lots of information if necessary for the visitor. Bab’s continually recommended improvements to the site which we acted on. Fiery Phoenix also worked on the SEO requirements and to date we continue as a web presence to rise from the ashes, our sales are day on day better in fact sales are nearly 10 fold from the original site, our presence is stronger on all search engines, we are number one on Google and on the first three pages for most others.
